Catchy Title or Why Haven't I Blogged in Over a Year?

This is a tough one. Obviously, in a question such as this, there is almost never just one answer. It is in my choosing which ones to include and which ones to omit (ignoring the ones I'm ignorant of) that I run the danger of revealing just who I am, a rather frightening proposition at the worst of times. There are responsibilities around the house, of course, many of them essential, such as fertilizing the berries and providing quality time for the cat. Other, less important tasks, such as washing the dishes or cleaning out the robotic vacuum, can also intrude on my writing time. There's been a lot to worry about this year, which also no doubt comes into play. But where I choose to place most of the blame is on you. Nobody ever comes here, so why bother? I can throw a bottle into the ocean once a week and communicate with as many people. But that requires driving to the coast, which means fossils have to be burnt which will speed climate change and though I'd be helping provide a lot of additional fossils for the fuel of the future, I'm hoping we can move beyond burning our past and destroying our future at the same time.
